Materiality Assessment
Aligning Impact with Strategy
We embed Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors into our strategy through a materiality-driven approach, aligning business goals with stakeholder priorities to address critical issues, drive sustainable performance, and ensure transparent, impactful reporting.
Materiality Assessment Process
Peer Benchmarking
We benchmarked ESG practices across a diverse set of industry peers, spanning varying levels of ESG maturity. This ensured our assessment was grounded in relevant, real-world context and best practices.
Framework Alignment
Topics were meticulously mapped to leading global ESG frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, SASB, BRSR, and the UN SDGs, ensuring strategic alignment and global relevance.
Stakeholder Relevance & Business Impact
Each topic was evaluated for its importance to our stakeholders and its strategic impact on Happy Forgings’ operations and long-term goals.
Validation & Prioritization
Senior leadership, together with our ESG working group, rigorously reviewed and validated the final list, forming the cornerstone of our ESG Roadmap.
